The Hackenblog has moved to http://hackenblog.hackenbush.org/ or www.hackenblog.com.Please update your links, thank you.[Previous entry: "Alison on the Road"] [Main Index] [Next entry: "More Digg links"] 10/12/2006 Entry: "Ojingogo webcomic and the Korean alphabet" "As an armchair linguiphile I was particularly interested in hearing about how Matt chose to use Hanguel, the Korean alphabet, as the basis for his fantastical nonsense language. Because the individual characters evolved as representations of the shapes of our mouths, the language seems to be a sort of comic in itself, and the perfect match for Ojingogo’s strange and wonderful world." I never quite got the charm of Ojingogo, but it's more interesting now. I think I'd like it better in book form. Oh, by the way, the first Pibgorn book is out. I got mine and it's a beauty! Posted by GM (I know, I'm posting a lot these days. No idea why or how long it will last. Enjoy!)
