02/20/2007 Entry: "A magazine two-fer"

Gee, I feel like I should play the Lotto today or something.

First, I get my author copies of the Coe Review. I have a prose poem, "The Haunted Mini-Mall," in this issue, (Volume 37, Number 1) the Poetry Issue, Fall 2006 (which is not on the website yet). I think if we wait a bit, the Coe Review puts the whole magazine on line, but it's a lovely little trade with pretty covers and not horribly expensive, so you can't go too wrong buying one. Besides, you'll be supporting poetry and Mayerson. What could be better than that?

The other nice surprise in the old PO Box was "Baffler, No 17." Geeze, I never thought I'd see that magazine again, so I'm very happy. Now there IS something else to look forward to (reading when I get home). Yay!
